Transformative Process
About Coaching
Discover the transformative power of coaching
What is Coaching?
The International Coaching Federation (ICF) defines coaching as "partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential".
Coaching gives you clarity and focus:
- It is a structured, self-directed, positive, forward-looking process - a coach will help improve the quality of your thinking and create greater awareness of choice. (There'll be no advice!)
- It explores your deeper values, strengths, patterns of thought and action, narratives, and limiting beliefs. (No therapy or counseling)
- It’s not always a comfortable space—it will stretch and challenge you. You can rely on your coach to “hold up the mirror” for you.
- Ultimately, it makes you a happier, calmer person with a greater sense of well-being.
How does Coaching make a difference?
Coaching makes a difference because it increases your self-awareness. Through conversations with the coach, you discover and uncover your values and belief systems. You become aware of your environment in new ways, changing your worldview and clarifying your beliefs about others as well.
In many ways, this is why coaching is often compared to peeling the layers of an onion—we keep exploring until we reach the core. But we do not just stay there; we take insightful action, moving inward and forward, resulting in transformation. This is not a pressure cooker recipe—it is slow, unhurried cooking that results in something truly fulfilling.

Timeline
How long does it take to 'work'?
Often, 4–6 months. However, it depends on several factors. Each person has different goals. Working on oneself requires openness, effort, and commitment both during and between sessions. We co-create the timeline together.
The Relationship
How is all this possible?
As you can imagine, a significant amount of trust exists between the coach and the client. The coach views the client as creative, resourceful, and whole, and holds unconditional positive regard for them. This relationship is built on belief.
As a client, you are in charge of where you want to go. You need to be committed to the path and ready to put in the work—even when it feels uncomfortable (and at times, it will be). The coach holds the space, the process, and the structure while you lead the journey, offering direct feedback and encouragement along the way.
Coaching is a rewarding process.
